19th cent Haviland Limoges cobalt blue gold encrusted 5 well Oyster plate A436

This is an antique Haviland Limoges oyster plate. These plates were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and were used for serving oysters on the half shell, each well gold-dabbed with a gold-encrusted, iridescent well, scrolled border.

Features: The plate has five wells for oysters/ This particular plate is cobalt blue with gold-encrusted decoration.
Condition: Excellent condition, well-preserved, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
