A sparkly antique gold and garnet cluster ring, dating to the early 20th century. Set with an array of deep ruby red coloured faceted garnets, all individually cut and all ever so slightly different. The stones are pavé set like a dome domed to create the bombé effect, the smooth gold closed back cups the head of the ring perfectly. The 18ct gold shank splits has Snake head pointed to the ring base. The ring crown is highly decorated. The base of the band inside has two beads for fiction to hold tight the ring.
