Antique 19th Century Majolica Oyster Plate Shell & Basketweave 9.5" Mint A936

This authentic late 19th-century German majolica oyster plate features a classic six-well design with a central sauce well. The plate is decorated with high-relief molded shell and seaweed motifs on a textured cream basketweave ground. Soft blue and ochre glazes highlight the naturalistic details of each well. The reverse side features the characteristic faint "Germany" export stamp consistent with post-1891 production. This is a well-preserved example of Victorian ceramic artistry.
