Antique 6-Well Oyster Plate Pink White Gold Porcelain c1890 A1267

Beautiful antique six-well porcelain oyster plate with a soft pink-to-white graduated glaze, raised shell accents between the wells, brown-gold outlining and a circular center well. The sculpted form and pastel palette give it a very elegant late-Victorian appearance.

The underside is unmarked except for a molded central star/registration feature, so the maker is presently unidentified. The form is consistent with late-19th-century Continental European oyster plates.
