A finely proportioned British hardstone snuff box featuring oval agate panels set within a gilt metal mount. The agate presents bold banding in deep red, cinnamon, and translucent cream, with natural variation unique to the stone. Both lid and interior base are faced in agate, framed by a clean gilt surround. The hinge remains aligned and functional. No hallmark visible. The base agate shows a crack, but the stone remains intact and stable.
