Antique c1890 Floral 5-Well Porcelain Oyster Plate Shell Form design 8" A1260

Beautiful antique porcelain oyster plate molded in an elegant shell form with five deep oyster wells surrounding a raised floral-shaped center condiment well. Decorated throughout with delicate pink and peach flowers, soft green leaves and fine brown trailing vines over glossy white porcelain. The sculptural shell molding and asymmetrical outline give this plate a particularly attractive late Victorian presentation. The underside is unmarked, so I would not assign a specific French or Limoges maker without evidence. Two matching plates are available; sale is for one plate.
