Antique c1900 Porcelain Oyster Plate Pink Aqua Floral Gold Gilt 10in Dish A1172

Beautiful antique porcelain oyster plate featuring six shell-shaped oyster wells surrounding a central sauce well. The plate is decorated in an unusually attractive combination of soft blush pink, pale aqua, white, and rich gold gilt. Each well is embellished with delicate gilt floral sprays, with additional gilt outlining and decorative accents around the scalloped rim. The underside carries the painted number “G-11174” together with a separate blue hand-painted decorator or production mark. The molded form and decoration are consistent with late 19th- to early 20th-century European oyster plates.

This is a particularly decorative example because of its large 10-inch size, strong pastel coloration, extensive gilding, and elaborate molded six-well form.

Condition: Mint antique condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. Excellent color tone with beautifully preserved pink, aqua, and gold decoration. Minor age-related surface or gilt wear may be present under close examination.
