Antique CFH GDM Haviland Limoges Oyster Plate Floral Gold 8.75" A1252

Antique French Limoges porcelain oyster plate by Charles Field Haviland / Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel. The plate has six molded oyster wells surrounding a central sauce well, with delicate floral sprigs in soft brown, cream, and pale green tones. A broad brushed gilt border follows the deeply scalloped shell-form rim. The underside bears the green CFH over GDM FRANCE factory mark. This CFH/GDM mark is associated with late 19th to early 20th century Limoges production, and comparable oyster plates are documented around the 1890–1920 period.
