Antique Franziska Hirsch Dresden Hand Painted Floral Divided Serving Dish A1040

Beautiful antique Dresden porcelain divided serving dish decorated with four different hand-painted floral bouquets, delicate scattered flowers, ornate gilt scrollwork and a scalloped rococo-style border. The large quatrefoil form has four generous serving sections surrounding a raised circular center well. The underside bears the blue “H X Dresden” mark associated with the Franziska Hirsch Dresden decorating studio, used approximately 1896–1930. The decoration is especially attractive, with individually painted flowers in vivid purple, blue, yellow, red and green against white porcelain. An impressive large-format Dresden piece for serving or display.
