Description
Beautiful antique French majolica oyster plate by Fives-Lille, circa 1890, featuring six deeply molded scallop-shell oyster wells surrounding a central sauce or lemon well. The vivid turquoise ground contrasts beautifully with dark blue-green shell interiors and soft pink scalloped rims. Fine relief molding and rich glaze variation give the plate strong visual depth and classic late-19th-century French majolica character.
