Antique French Limoges Oyster Plate, Pink & Gold, Aqua Ruffer SQ Border, c.1890

A striking French Limoges porcelain oyster plate, dating to around 1900, featuring five deep oyster wells surrounding a raised center well. The plate displays a luxurious design with hand-painted raised gold separating wells shaded in soft pink and white, framed by a pale aqua blue scalloped border adorned with gilt floral decoration. This refined color palette is highly desirable among Victorian–Belle Époque collectors.

The porcelain is of excellent quality and the plate retains strong gilding with no cracks, chips, or repairs observed. Measuring 9 inches in diameter, this is a particularly elegant example of fine French oyster service, ideal for display and collection.
