Elegant late-19th-century German porcelain oyster plate with five deeply molded oyster wells surrounding a central sauce well. The crisp white porcelain is accented with finely feathered brown shell outlines, brown oyster details, and delicate gilt trim around the center and scalloped outer rim. The reverse carries a faint impressed “REGISTRIRT” mark, a period German registered-design marking found on comparable 19th-century oyster plates.
