Antique Haviland Limoges 6-Well Oyster Plate Pink & Purple Floral A1243

Beautiful antique Haviland & Co. Limoges oyster plate with six shell-shaped wells surrounding a central sauce or lemon well. Decorated in soft pink with delicate violet floral accents and hand-painted gold outlining around each shell. The sculpted shell form and flowing gilt details give the plate an elegant late-19th-century look. The underside bears a Haviland & Co. Limoges mark. Haviland oyster plates of this type were produced during the height of the oyster-plate fashion in the late 1800s.
