Antique Haviland Limoges Oyster Plate Green Gilt Floral Relief 10" A751

This antique French oyster plate is a finely molded example of late 19th to early 20th century Limoges porcelain, attributed to Haviland. The plate features six deep shell-shaped wells arranged around a raised central dome, each cavity framed by flowing Rococo-inspired relief scrollwork. The surface is richly decorated with hand-painted florals in soft pinks, lavender, and pale yellow, accented by delicate gilt botanical motifs. A deep olive green border, finished with intricate gold tracery and scalloped edging, frames the composition and gives the piece strong visual presence. The glazing is luminous and even, with crisp molded detail throughout, reflecting the high firing standards and craftsmanship associated with Haviland Limoges production. The underside bears the green Haviland France factory mark, consistent with late 1800s to early 1900s manufacture.
