Early 20th-century Italian micro mosaic brooch featuring an exceptionally detailed raised floral composition assembled from tiny hand-set glass tesserae. Colorful roses, daisies and millefiori accents are arranged over a turquoise-green mosaic ground within a square gilt-metal setting. The dense three-dimensional workmanship and unusually elaborate border make this a particularly decorative example of Italian micromosaic jewelry. Reverse marked MADE IN ITALY.
