An exceptional antique Japanese Nippon porcelain teapot featuring a rich underglaze cobalt flow blue body adorned with intensely detailed hand-painted floral scrollwork and thick gold gilt enrichments along the structural contours. The heavy form showcases a molded branch-form handle and a stylized organic lid finial, highlighting late Meiji to Taisho period export styles with a beautiful bleeding flow effect. The underside frames an authentic antique cobalt underglaze export studio decorator mark, circa 1890-1920.
