Antique Majolica Oyster Plate Lavender Wells Coral Motif A899

A genuine antique majolica crescent-shaped oyster plate, circa 1880–1900. The design features five wells finished in a soft lavender glaze, centered by a raised green coral motif against a textured brown ground. The reverse displays a mottled yellow ochre glaze with characteristic uneven pooling and three distinct spur marks from kiln firing, confirming its period manufacture. An unmarked but high-quality example of late 19th-century earthenware, presented in the manner of Copeland/Spode.
