Description
An Art Deco diamond, sapphire, and 10K brooch, comprising forty-two (42) old mine cut & round brilliant diamonds, and four (4) French cut sapphires, set in 10K white gold pin and fittings.
This chic Art Deco brooch is formed as a circle in graduating size, it set with diamonds, and alternating set with sapphires on the bottom. A little bit off right side of the brooch has a gorgeous diamond set bow motif, which has been made to wrap around the brooch, as if it had just been tied by hand, interspersed with openwork, the diamonds graduate in size, creating a 3D effect. The diamonds are bright, white, sparkly, and well-matched with one another. The bottom half of the circle is set with calibre French cut sapphires, of a luxurious, deep blue hue. The sapphires are natural, as was the height of fashion in the Art Deco era. The brooch is in great condition. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
