Eximious Limoges France Hand Painted Confiture Jam Jar Trinket Box A1039

Charming Limoges-style porcelain trinket box in the form of a small confiture jam jar, hand painted with a rich cobalt blue lid, warm fruit/jam decoration, and front “Confiture” label. The hinged gilt metal mount has a decorative bow clasp design, and the clasp snaps closed nicely. Interior is clean white porcelain with no inside painting. Bottom marked “EXIMIOUS & LIMOGES,” “Hand Painted France,” and “Peint Main.” No individual artist/designer name is visible.
