French Peint Main Taxi Porcelain Hinged Trinket Box Signed Limoges A1035

Hand-painted French porcelain hinged trinket box in the form of a vintage black taxi cab, decorated with burgundy fenders, silver-tone street base, and “TAXI” sign detail on the roof. The interior features a hand-painted small camper/trailer scene. Signed on the underside Peint Main Simoes France. Finished with an antique brass-tone hinged clasp, and the clasp snaps closed nicely. There is a visible crack, but the box remains intact and displays well.
