Retired Goebel “Flight Into Egypt” porcelain figurine pair designed by Janet Robson. The two-piece set includes Mary holding the Christ Child while riding a donkey and St. Joseph carrying a staff, travel bundle and lantern. Both figures are hand painted in deep cobalt blue, ivory, gray and warm earth tones, with finely modeled facial features and textured brushwork. The underside bears the Goebel W. Germany TMK-5 trademark. This Janet Robson series is discontinued.
