Intricate carved antique c1900 Resin/Bone Lotus floral screw on trinket A607

A finely carved antique cylindrical box crafted from resin/bone (?), featuring richly detailed relief work across its entire surface. The body of the container displays an elegant, continuous floral motif, Lotus, with large, deeply carved petals and scrolling foliage arranged in a harmonious pattern. The lid showcases an intricate openwork (reticulated) carving of layered flowers and leaves, creating a delicate, lace-like effect that demonstrates skilled hand craftsmanship. A narrow border of precise ring-and-dot decoration encircles the rim, adding refinement to the overall design.

The interior appears smooth and lightly patinated, consistent with age carving techniques from the late 19th to early 20th century.
