Mikimoto cultured pearls are noted as some of the finest in the world. Kokichi Mikimoto perfected (and invented) the method of cultivation for Akoya saltwater pearls.

At 23.0 inches in length, the luster of this vintage strand is remarkable and evident. In shadow, and in light, the sheen and glow are impressive.

Their hue lies between creamy white and the softest of pinks. Flattering to most skin tones, they are also evenly matched.

The surfaces are nearly blemish-free; magnification is needed to detect anything but a smooth, even texture.

Each pearl averages 7.56-7.60mm in diameter and all are knotted between. A signature silver Mikimoto safety clasp is topped with a 4.3 mm pearl. The "M" mark in a shell shape is clearly evident. Weight 46.1 grams.
