This is a Montblanc Meisterstück No.72 fountain pen with a rolled-gold cap and black resin barrel. Piston-filler mechanism using bottled ink only; no cartridge required. Gold nib marked Montblanc with smooth writing performance. There is a small personal engraving on the pen that is discreet and does not affect use or appearance from a normal viewing distance. The piston operates properly. Cosmetic wear is consistent with age, including light surface marks visible upon close inspection. A classic vintage writing instrument from Montblanc.
