Rare Antique French Limoges Oyster Plate Blue Center Yellow Red 9 1/8 A1261

Striking antique French porcelain oyster plate featuring six deeply molded shell-shaped wells with naturalistic white and brown decoration surrounding a vivid turquoise-blue center condiment well. The bright yellow ground is accented with hand-painted red seaweed or coral motifs, creating an unusually vibrant late-19th-century presentation. The underside is unmarked except for a hand-painted red “64.” Similar marked and unmarked examples of this six-well form are documented as French Limoges/Haviland production from the late 1800s.
