Rare Limoge Horse head on the marble stone hinged trinket box A452

Rare decorative ceramic trinket box in the shape of a horse's head by Limoges. It is designed to look like a chess knight piece. The box is made of porcelain and features a gray-and-white marble-like finish with a gold-colored chain detail around the neck. The head is a lid that opens to reveal a small compartment inside. The clasp is a horseshoe. Hallmark on the base. 2 3/8 x 1 1/8 x 1 5/8", in excellent condition.
