Signed G.R Hand-Painted Ceramic Limoges Blue Chair trinket box A554

This little blue French slipper chair is a pillbox! It is hand-decorated china, featuring red Rose flowers on the seat and back, and embellished with gold. There is a brass frame with a floral clasp. The chair has a bombe base that opens to hold pills, but it needs no other excuse than its charm. It is mid-twentieth century, marked "Pein'r Mein Limoges France GR" on the bottom. The box measures 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/2" across, and 1 5/8" deep. It is in excellent original condition.
