A vintage 14K yellow gold ring set with an oval carved shell cameo portraying a classical female bust in profile, executed in layered relief against a warm natural shell ground. The cameo measures approximately 15.4mm x 8mm and is framed by an openwork decorative border. The overall ring top measures approximately 19.2mm in length, giving the piece a refined vertical presence reminiscent of mid-20th century Victorian revival design. Hallmarked 14K.
