Vintage Goebel M.I. Hummel Madonna With Halo 45/0 Full Bee TMK-2 A1293

Early M.I. Hummel “Madonna With Halo” HUM 45/0 designed by Reinhold Unger for Goebel. This desirable color version depicts the Virgin Mary with hands folded in prayer, wearing a softly shaded blue mantle over a rose-colored gown and a flat halo decorated with red stars. The underside carries the early TMK-2 Full Bee trademark, dating this example to the 1950–1957 period. HUM 45/0 was later withdrawn from production, making this an early retired version rather than a later production example. The color TMK-2 version is substantially scarcer and has historically carried a much higher collector value than later examples.
