Vintage Kenichi Murakami Four Seasons Sosaku Kokeshi Doll Set Japan A1199

Charming set of four Japanese Sosaku creative kokeshi by renowned artist Kenichi Murakami (1929–). Each doll represents a season through individually hand-painted imagery, including flowers, dragonflies, figures and geometric motifs. Murakami is known for restrained decoration that emphasizes the natural wood grain and texture. One doll bears the artist’s signature on the base. A scarce complete Four Seasons set by an important mid-century kokeshi artist.

Size: Each approximately 2 5/8" high x 7/8" wide
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light age-related wear and minor marks. No major damage noted.
