Vintage Limoges France Peint Main Peach Fruit Trinket Box Glass Compote A1187

Description: Charming vintage Limoges France hand-painted porcelain trinket box formed as a ripe peach in warm orange, yellow, and green tones. The hinged box is finished with ornate bronze-tone metal trim and a whimsical bee clasp. Inside is an elaborate miniature clear glass pedestal compote holding colorful glass fruit, set over a decorative filigree-style metal base. The underside is hand-marked “Peint Main Limoges France,” indicating hand-painted Limoges porcelain. Comparable genuine Limoges fruit boxes are collectible and currently offered across a broad range depending on maker, rarity, and complexity. The miniature glass bowl/compote inside has been repaired.
