Micro Mosaic Floral Brooch and matching earrings set Like all micro mosaics, the florals pieces look painted on, but are actually made of very tiny pieces of glass and enamel of different colors, cut into pieces called "tesserae", and arranged to form images. Each micro mosaic is hand-created, and as much as we've marvelled at some "masterpieces" of micro mosaic paintings and fine jewelry online, we also believe that it takes an expert artisan to hand-piece together a tiny picture using miniature glass pieces. The mini artworks set on gold tone backing, adorns with twisted rope border. The earrings are 20.0mm; the brooch is 30.0mm. Weight 22.4 gram, very nice vintage condition.
